What a quaint little Japanese restaurant, a lovely find near the MTR exit with authentic food served by a fantastic team. Felt so welcomed and the place is cosy and comfortable, though small. Super fresh seafood and great skills! What a gem. Various menu available, with options to top up or tag on extra dishes.

Had dinner there on Friday. We ordered the lobster teppanyaki set. The seafood was super fresh and perfectly seasoned & cooked. I truly enjoy all courses. The place was clean and the chef and servers were friendly. It was a great meal and a great experience. I wonder how this survives in north point as it’s not a typical part of town that people would spend this kind of money to eat. Anyways, I would recommend this for groups, dates and special occasions.

This little hidden gem in North Point is such a delight. Their seafood is fresh and delicious. The people there are warm and friendly. Worth a trip just to try their seafood sets. Ask them for their seasonal promotions!

True hidden gem recommended by a Japanese. Every dish was meticulously prepared and delicious. On the pricier end but this is definitely a new favorite and I like it better than Yardbird

Think the chef team is changed from when it was named Kousen. Now it's three Japanese chefs with most of the serving team unchanged. Their kamameshi is superb. The buri is first charcoal grilled to have a tiny burnt, which is perfect for these relatively oily fish type. Then put on top of the earthen pot rice. Sad thing is these kamameshi is quite large and serve around 2P otherwise I'll definitely be a weekly regular

Authentic Japanese grill dishes and skewers! A hidden little gem in North Point run by Japanese chefs! Ordered the Natural Unaju Don Lunch Set (HKD480) and some other skewers. All grilled dishes are prepared right in front of you. Delicious and fresh! Rice is also perfectly cooked! Will definitely visit again!

A Japanese skewers izakaya specializing in authentic Japanese charcoal stove grilling in North Point. It is one of the very few restaurants offering true charcoal stove grilling in Hong Kong. Like all top traditional skewer izakayas in Japan, Koji uses Japanese premier bino-charcoal, known for its hardness and high density. The soft boiled egg wrapped in pork belly, deep fried shrimp kadaifu rolls are some of my favorites.

Beautiful yakitori restaurant. We had yakitori chicken rice and prawns and vegetables tempura udon set lunch. Good value and tasted good. The steamed egg was very delicious. Excellent coffee as well.
